Jeep Compass prices take a dive – entry-level trim gets a whopping price drop!
Jeep India has adjusted the pricing of its Compass range, reducing the price of the entry-level Compass Sport trim by Rs. 1.7 lakhs to a new price tag of Rs 18.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). However, the prices for five out of seven variants have increased by Rs. 14,000 each. With these changes, the Jeep Compass range now ranges from Rs. 18.99 lakhs to Rs. 32.41 lakhs (ex-showroom). Checkout the latest price table below.

Now, behold the top-tier Compass Model S automatic variant, the sole option blessed with 4×4 technology, while all other variants valiantly tread as front-wheel-drive champions. Fear not, for the mechanical prowess of the Jeep Compass remains unaltered, a testament to its enduring legacy.
All Jeep Compass models now feature a 2.0-liter diesel engine with 170 HP and 350 Nm of torque, replacing the 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine discontinued in May 2023. The diesel engine is available with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
While the new lower price of the basic Compass is more affordable, it remains to be seen how it will impact sales in the Indian market. Despite the budget-friendly starting price, the top models of the Compass are priced similarly to its competitors like the Hyundai Tucson, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross.
The American automaker’s pricing strategy will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in upholding its sales against formidable competitors. The upcoming months will unveil whether these adjustments deeply resonate with consumers and propel sales for the Compass.
