
The Latest Ferrari F80 comes with hybrid system having three motors.
Italian carmaker Ferrari has revealed the Ferrari F80 which is a successor to the iconic hypercar LaFerrari. The latest Ferrari features a V6 hybrid powertrain sourced from Ferrari’s formula 1 cars and produces a jaw dropping power output of 1200 HP. Priced from INR. 33 Crores, the latest model is the fastest road-legal Ferrari ever made
Design & Exterior
Designed by Flavio Manzoni, the Ferrari F80 looks like a futuristic car at first glance. According to Ferrari, the new model’s design takes inspiration from Spaceships and since fiction. On the front, there’s a black grill on a sporty bumper housing two intakes for better aerodynamics. Overall, the car looks quite aggressive especially in the familiar red colour.
Interior
On the inside, it was supposed to be a single seater hypercar, but later on the Italian marque opted for a 2 seater setup. The latest Ferrari F80 comes with a completely redesigned cabin focusing on driver’s experience with most of the controls provided on the steering itself.

Dimensions
The new Ferrari F80 stands, 4840 mm in length, 20260 mm in width, 1130 mm in height and weighs 1525 kg. In terms of dimensions, the F80 is bigger than the recently launched McLaren W1, the closest rival. The suspension duty is handled by a four 48V actuators.

Powertrain
Powering the Ferrari F80 is Italian marque’s 3.0 litre twin-turbo V6 engine delivering 900 HP on it’s own. It is combined with a hybrid system having three electric motors, two on front axle and one on the rear. With this hybrid system, the combined power output increase by additional 300 HP, taking it to a whopping 1200 HP. This power takes the new hypercar from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 2.15 seconds and 0to 200km/hr in 5.75 seconds, making it the fastest road-legal Ferrari ever produced.

While the Ferrari F80 features a hybrid system, it does not have a pure electric mode. However, there’s a 2.3 kWh battery on offer to enable low-speed driving serving to the requirements of city driving. It also get’s a Boost Optimisation feature allowing the driver keep a track record of a sighting lap.
Market & Rival’s
Ferrari has unveiled the F80 just weeks after the launch of McLaren W1 which is the direct rival to the latest Ferrari. It will be interesting to see how worlds most reputed brands competes with each other.
