Bajaj just dropped a super exciting teaser of an exhaust note on their Instagram, and it’s buzzing with hype for the new Pulsar RS200! Here’s what we can look forward to from that thrilling sneak peek. The Pulsar RS200 has been a reliable performer for Bajaj but is starting to feel outdated due to its lack of modern features compared to newer models.
Bajaj RS200: What to expect
Bajaj shared a reel on the @mypulsaroffical Instagram handle featuring blurred visuals and an exhaust sound that suggests the new RS400 may not be bassy, sounding more like the RS200. They also posted an image of the Pulsar RS200 with the caption hinting at an update, emphasizing the letters ‘R’, ‘S’, and the word ‘RETURN’ in uppercase, indicating an upcoming update for the RS200.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200, launched in 2015, is a sophisticated fully-faired motorcycle equipped with a 200cc engine that shares the same robust characteristics as the NS200. It delivers a power output of 24hp and a torque of 19Nm, complemented by a seamless 6-speed gearbox.
The Pulsar RS200 packs a dual halogen projector and a cool twin-DRL setup, but the digi-analogue instrument cluster feels a bit old school and doesn’t have Bluetooth. They’re gearing up to unleash a digital dash that’s every bit as impressive as what you find on the Pulsar N150, N160, and NS200. Right now, if you’re daring enough to invest about Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), you can grab this thrilling ride in three eye-catching colors that will definitely turn heads!
