BMW is finally jumping into the electric two-wheeler game, making a bold move into the future of mobility.

BMW is ready to launch its first electric scooter in the Indian market, the CE 04, with an 8.9kWh battery and a promised range of 130km. There’s been no word from the company officials about the CE 04 apart from its price, but the C 400 GT made a grand entrance in India at Rs 11.20 lakh. All indications suggest that the CE 04 will carry a price tag nearly double that amount.

The CE 04 boasts an impressive array of features, such as three exhilarating ride modes, cutting-edge traction control, and ABS for heightened safety. With a sleek and futuristic design, it showcases distinct elements and unconventional bodywork that truly set it apart. Additionally, its state-of-the-art TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity ensures seamless navigation, making every ride an unforgettable experience.

The BMW electric scooter features a telescopic front fork, a side-mounted rear monoshock, 15-inch wheels with 120/160 front and rear tyres, a 780mm seat height (expandable to 800mm with the optional comfort seat), and a weight of 179kg with standard equipment.

The motor unleashes a breathtaking peak output of 31kW, catapulting the scooter from 0-50 in a mere 2.6 seconds and reaching a thrilling top speed of 120kph. In just 4 hours and 20 minutes with a regular charger, or an exhilarating 1 hour and 40 minutes with an optional fast charger, you’ll be ready to conquer the road again.
