
Volkswagen Unveils Specifications for the Tiguan R-Line Ahead of the launch on 14th April.
The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line is one of the hottest new SUVs dropping this month, and everyone’s buzzing about it! The German carmaker has already let slip the cool features packed into the Tiguan R Line, and it’s got us all hyped up. Word on the street is that this SUV will set you back about Rs. 50 Lakh.
Exterior
When you check it out, the Tiguan R Line really gives off a sporty vibe. Those sleek LED headlights, the big air intakes with that cool mesh look, and a bit of contrasting silver on the lip just pop. Plus, on the sides, you’ve got some 19-inch Coventry alloy wheels, aerodynamic mirrors, and some pretty stylish curves over the fenders!
At the back, there are smoked LED-connected taillights and shiny silver roof rails that stand out against the rest of the exterior.
Interior & Features
Inside, the Tiguan R Line definitely nails the sporty vibe while packing in some awesome tech.
It gets triple-zone climate control, wireless charging for two devices. Also, some groovy ambient lighting with a wild 30 color options! And let’s not forget those sleek brushed stainless steel pedals and that awesome panoramic sunroof to seal the deal!

The cockpit also boasts a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, complete with sport seats that have R Line branding and comfy massage and lumbar support options.
Safety is a big deal with the Tiguan R Line, packed with cool stuff like Level 2 ADAS, nine airbags, Hill Start Assist, and Hill Descent Control. Plus, it’s got a solid 5-star NCAP safety rating, so you can kick back knowing you’re in good hands. Also, VW Park Assist Plus with Park Distance Control lets the car find its own parking spot at speeds up to 40 km/hr.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Tiguan R Line comes with a zippy 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine that dishes out 204 HP and 320 Nm of torque. It’s all-wheel drive, so you can blast from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 7.1 seconds, hitting a top speed of 229 km/hr.
Volkswagen has definitely turned up the excitement with the specs of the India-bound Tiguan R Line, and it’ll be fun to see if this German SUV can compete with big names like BMW, Mercedes, and Audi, especially since it’s more budget-friendly.
