Honda Elevate Black Edition

The Honda Elevate Black Edition has launched at Rs 15.51 lakh, while the Elevate Signature Black Edition starts at Rs 15.71 lakhs, both offering manual and CVT automatic gearbox options based on the top ZX trim. The Elevate Apex edition, which debuted last year, is still available. Honda’s midsize SUV sales have fallen short of expectations, despite the popularity of the Elevate Apex edition introduced last year.

Elevate Black Edition:What’s new?

The Honda Elevate in the Black Edition package features a Crystal Black Pearl exterior, all-black interiors, and alloy wheels, priced at Rs 15.51 lakh for the manual and Rs 16.73 lakh for the CVT, with silver accents on the doors, upper grille, and roof rails. It offers a black finish on silver elements and includes a seven-colour ambient interior lighting package, priced at Rs 15.71 lakh for the manual and Rs 16.93 lakh for the CVT.

The standard Elevate SUV features six airbags, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, leatherette seating, a sunroof, camera-based ADAS, auto headlights and wipers, a semi-analogue instrument cluster, and a 7.0-inch TFT display. The Elevate Black Edition retains the 121hp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with options for a manual or CVT automatic gearbox.

The Elevate Black Edition competes with models like the Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, MG Astor Blackstorm, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara black edition, while the standard Honda Elevate faces tough competition from the Creta, Seltos, Grand Vitara, Hyryder, Kushaq, and Taigun, with the Creta leading the segment in monthly sales of around 15,000 units.
