Hyundai is gearing up to introduce an exciting new crossover that is set to rival the Maruti Fronx and Toyota Taisor. The eagerly anticipated vehicle, codenamed Bc4i, is scheduled for launch in 2026. Based on the i20’s platform, it is poised to offer a remarkable resemblance to the Bayon, a popular model sold internationally.
Hyundai introduced the i20 Active, a thrilling crossover inspired by the Elite i20. However, with the third generation i20, Hyundai surprised enthusiasts by not launching a crossover version. Now, inspired by the success of the Fronx, the brand is gearing up to unveil an exciting new model that will share numerous components with the i20. Stay tuned for the latest updates on this thrilling new addition to the Hyundai lineup!
As for the product positioning, the crossover will confidently take its place alongside the Venue and beneath the Creta. It’s also exciting to note that it will share engine options with the Venue. Hyundai is eagerly working on the second generation Venue, slated to make its debut in the markets next year, following the successful launch of the first generation in 2019.
The exciting new crossover will be created right at Sriperumbudur, where passion and craftsmanship come together to bring this vehicle to life. Meanwhile, the remarkable new Venue will be expertly crafted at the company’s recently acquired Talegaon plant, adding to the sense of anticipation and adventure surrounding this new production.
