
Skoda has recently showcased their first entry level EV called Skoda Epiq. The concept of this EV looks quite futuristic and based the Skoda design language. The production version of Epiq EV will go on sale for the global market by the mid of 2025.
In terms of design, the Skoda Epiq will be based on the Czech brands latest design language. On the front, it will feature a blacked-out grill with integrated LED DRLs on both sides. Following the latest trend, the Headlights will be placed on the bumper.
On ethe side, profile, it gets a shoulder line running across the body and will feature the door mounted ORVMs and flushed-out door handles. It will get a new and fresh set of alloy wheels too. The rear profile will get a subtle design of taillights with a sporty bumper.
On the interior, it will feature a large touchscreen infotainment with latest UI and a digital instrument cluster on the dashboard. Skoda will also offer new colour options for the upholstery and the soft touch materials to make it look fresh and rival the competitors.
Skoda is likely to offer the Epiq EV with a battery pack of ranging between 38kWh to 56kWh. Powered by a single motor placed, it will be a front-wheel-drive model. On a single charge, it will offer a driving range of around 400 kms. Furthermore, it will feature bi-directional charging capacity too.
Now, the brand has already revealed some of the details of the Epiq EV including the dimensions. It stans 4.1 meters in length, 2600 of wheelbase and 490 litres of boot space. We can expect it to be launched in the Indian market soon after the global debut scheduled in 2025.
